Pressure

I don’t like when people put pressure on others. I don’t think I have to be at my best 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I don’t think anyone can expect us to do.

Life is the show, world is the crowd and you are what’s it all about. But we should have some backup and be able to pull the curtain when needed.

Violent games

Everybody once heared about it: violent games have a bad impact on kids.
/fail.
Violent games do not have a bad impact on kids, if they do, there’s something wrong with the kids, not the games.

First of all, games are fiction. If someone plays a game and he thinks he really is a terrorist. He’s a retard. Truely.
Secondly, I think there would be a lot more aggresion and violence without games. When you’ve had a bad day, teachers all went crazy on you, you have a lot of homework to do and just got an E for maths, you have to blast out the frustration. Maybe it’s just better then to kill some virtual people instead of knocking down three granny’s down the street.
Also, it’s a great way to waste some time when weather is bad. And you really don’t hurt anyone when you hunt ‘em down.

I think those games where you build your own virtual personality and be dropped in a huge social world are way more dangerous. It’s a lot more easier to lose your sense of reality and fiction in an environment looking familiar to real.
E.g. being an Afghan terrorist in the dessert trying to plant a bomb in the dessert <-> talking to some (ingame) nice looking girls in a virtual club.

Conclusion: games are games, if they’re violent or puzzles. Whoever losing his sense of wrong and right, thinking his life is just a game, should get some help. I think all these news that’s been said about for example GTA-series are just over-worried. From 1000 gamers, maybe 1 or 2 could be able to do something stupid because it’s right to do it ingame. While in games like Second Life, people can be lifted way more, you could be talking to a 56-years old grey perv, while you think you’re talking to one or another blonde big-tits.

Hypocrisy

I was talking to a girl last night, it has been a while so we were just chatting about how’s life. At a moment, we came to a little discussion about something and she said: ‘Why don’t you just smile and say I’m right?’. And I asked why I should. So she said: ‘Well, I learned that’s just a good way to make it through each day easily.’

When I heared those words, it scared me. Why should we ignore our own opinion when we’re talking to friends, just to make sure they won’t get mad about us. I mean, everyone has his own ideas, we’re not living in the old middle ages where you’ll get burned when you have an opinion that not strikes with the one of your leaders.

I hope it’s just not too late and that our world once will realise not everyone thinks alike. We have to learn to accept others opinion. We want them to accept ours. I can’t imagine how boring life would be if there was noone with an other belief than me. Other minds bring colour in life, obligate us to find a creative solution when problems or discussions show up. Oh, how boring would life be if all we had to do was just smile and say: ‘You’re right.’

There he is, the fourth generation iPod. Again, the little thingy looks awesome. Really. He is awesome.
Sucks I bought a 3th generation one about three weeks from now. If I knew back then this would be the new one for the same price, I wouldn’t. Apple is really genious. I’m a fan.

Isn’t he just cute? Also his features are A(+)mazing. They totally know what young people like. I mean, to shuffle your songs, just shake it. Pretty, pretty awesome.

Apple always fascinated me. First of all, just because I think the things you work with all day should look good. You go dressed good, so why wouldn’t your stuff? Pretty much every design Apple ever made, I liked. Also the iMac and Leopard were the first things that really caught my attention in a shop. A few months ago, I was in a shop like Best Buy and there we’re some iMac’s running. I wasted almost 30 minutes over there experimenting with all those features, while I just skipped the Windows Vista ones, which I’ve never seen before then too.

I don’t know why, but Apple looks a way more fresh, a way more ambitious than Windows. Programs like Garageband just improve this feeling. While Windows allows you to just be creative, Apple shows you hundred other ways to be.

In my opinion, the only thing Apple misses is a gameconsole. If they would have one, Apple could be the complete entertainmentsolution for young people, starting with an iMac, iPhone and the iGame. Oh yes, it would be fun.

Should we really let this go?
